Volunteer

Every believer has unique gifts to be discovered, developed and used to strengthen the Church. Once you have completed the four Step Classes, there are many opportunities to use your gifts in ministry.  Don't let these gifts sit on the side...dive in!

XTeam

This team makes worship services an experience for members and visitors.

Opportunities:

  • Traffic – direct traffic flow and assist guests with parking
  • Shuttle – provide on-campus transport to and from parking lot
  • Ushers / Greeters – greet guests, provide programs & assist with seating
  • Guest Services – assist with event registrations and provide information and connection  
      points for people attending the weekly events on campus
  • Cafe - assist with Cafe ministry
  • Check-in - assist parents with check-in for Worship Experiences and events
  • Security – provide safety for all guests, including children (training is provided)
  • Medical Response – respond to on-campus medical emergencies
  • Meals for Moms – provide meals for new mothers (and their families) after they return from the hospital
  • Hospitality - provides a welcoming area for volunteers on Sunday mornings

Community Impact

We invest a lot to make JFC a safe place for people to learn they matter to God. But did you know the church has left the building? We’re out there, in the thick of it, across town making an impact in our community. Is your calling to our community or the world?

Campus Support

  • Facility Maintenance - Help with plumbing, electrical, painting, general construction, and carpentry
  • Grounds Maintenance - Planting and landscape care
  • White Glove Team - Maintain an inviting experience throughout the building during all services and events

Children and Teens

Opportunities:

  • Nursery & Preschool - Rock the babies or giggle with the preschoolers
  • Elementary - Assist with high energy worship and supervise activities
  • Jr and Sr High - Ministry to teens

Technical Arts

Opportunities:

  • Equipment Operators and Assistants – run lighting, video, audio & sound systems for adult, children and off-campus events
  • Operate cameras for services and conferences
  • Technical Operation - run media shout for worship services

Creative Arts

Opportunities:

  • Vocal – solos & backup for worship, children’s programming and special events
  • Band – wide variety of musical styles during weekend services and special events
  • Drama – performance, directing, costuming, props, staging and script writing
  • Creative Media – produce compelling media and computer animations, create custom music tracks for media content or provide special event photography and videography
